For ceremonies –
We have traditional and contemporary processionals, recessionals and interludes for Christian, Jewish and non-denominational weddings. Our music will set the atmosphere for any mood, from lush and romantic to bright and celebratory. We can also accompany a singer or another instrumentalist, such as a trumpeter or organist.  You choose the music you like, and we’ll time it to fit your ceremony.

For parties and social hours –
Our wide variety of music can add sparkle and class to any function.  You choose the styles of music you and your guests enjoy, and we’ll play it – from the elegance of Classical music to popular melodies of love songs, jazz standards, and folk music.

For dinner receptions–
Our elegant mood music will remain in the background to complement your event, rather than overpowering your guests’ conversations.

Violinist Lynn Newdome coordinates events for Classic Wedding Ensembles and will work with you to create the perfect music for your special occasion. Included in every engagement, you’ll receive a helpful Music Planning Worksheet, a CD of most requested selections, and a complete and updated Music List.  You may have as many conversations with Lynn via telephone and email as you like, knowing your event will be planned just as you wish. We’ll help you find a singer or another instrumentalist such as organist or trumpeter, and provide musical accompaniment for them. The ensemble can dress in formal attire (tuxedo or tails, and long black gowns), less formal (suit, black dress), or informal attire.

Services available for an additional fee include:

• Attendance at your wedding rehearsal. We are secure in playing without a rehearsal with you, but you may wish to have one of us present at your rehearsal so that the wedding party may hear the music and cues.
• Amplification. For larger parties and corporate events we offer amplification using our custom sound system which gently augments our volume while keeping the fine acoustical quality of our string instruments.
• Tent coverage.  For outdoor events, you may wish to have us provide the security of a canopied shelter for the musicians’ playing area.
• Arrangement of special music. If you want a piece which isn’t on our Music List, we’ll make an arrangement of it for you!
